About

Dr. Steinkamp is a teacher-trainer, coach, researcher and mom. In conjunction with several professional roles, she spent her career working with people to develop effective individual and group communication skills, establish healthy relationships, and to be confident independent people. Dr. Steinkamp has worked with thousands of individuals and families as they strived to better their life circumstances by learning more about themselves, developing a sense of purpose and strategically pursuing their life goals.

In 2020 Dr. Steinkamp began her own journey through family estrangement. Now she chooses, in partnership with her adult daughter, to use her experiences, training and expertise to help others through the challenges and trials of relational stress, family estrangement and readiness to reconnect.

Lessons Learned
I’ve learned that moving into the acceptance stage of estrangement grief is a challenging choice. Acceptance requires courage and vulnerability.
